I’m a Dominican-American fiction writer and non-profit professional born/raised in New York City and currently based out of Rochester, NY. I’m grateful to have received a Walter Dean Myers Grant from We Need Diverse Books, Pink Door fellowship, and writing residency at the Studios of Key West, along with a BA in Creative Writing from SUNY Purchase College. Currently, I’m working on a young adult novel. More soon!
By day, I work on data collection, research, and community engagement in health & human services. Basically, if you need to know where to go for help in any given community (especially in New York State), I’m a good person to ask. If you must know more, see me on LinkedIn.
You can find me tweeting about books, astrology, NYState things, occasional dumb sh*t, and health & human services @frannypadilla
